VFCS was first endorsed by PEFC in October 2020. In accordance with PEFC regulations, the system undergoes a periodic five-year update to ensure compliance with PEFC standards, Vietnamese law, and—crucially—market demands.
PEFC has now officially launched a public consultation on VFCS. Vietnam Forest Certification Center (VFCC) invites agencies, organizations, experts, and stakeholders to provide feedback to help improve the system.
