The national standard for forest carbon credits – Requirements (TCVN 14682:2026) was prepared by the Vietnam Forest Certification Office, and published by the Ministry of Science and Technology via Decision No. 3429/QĐ-BKHCN dated on August 11, 2026. TCVN 14682:2026 was developed in alignment with Vietnamese legal regulations and international practices.

This standard serves as “the benchmark” for developing and implementing carbon projects in the forestry and land-use sector, facilitating the transaction and trade of carbon credits on the Vietnamese carbon market (V-ETS).
