The national standard for forest carbon credits (TCVN 14682:2026), drafted by the Sustainable Forest Management Certification Office, was issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology via Decision No. 3429/QĐ-BKHCN on August 11, 2026.
TCVN 14682:2026 was developed in alignment with Vietnamese legal regulations and international practices. This standard serves as “the benchmark” for developing and implementing carbon projects within the forestry and land-use sectors, facilitating the exchange and trading of carbon credits on the Vietnamese carbon market (V-ETS).
